Lecturer Among Four Held in Assam for Job Scam Linked to Tata Project

Four people, including a college lecturer, were arrested in Morigaon for duping job seekers by promising fake jobs in Tata’s upcoming semiconductor unit. Led by Tarikul Ahmed, the group created fake WhatsApp groups and documents to scam youths in Nagaon and Morigaon, collecting lakhs. Police have urged the public to verify job offers and stay alert.
