Dhubri Students Protest Eviction Drive Blocking Access to Schools

Hundreds of students protested outside the Dhubri DC office on Thursday, demanding removal of barricades set up after a recent eviction drive. They alleged the bamboo blockades blocked key routes used by char-area students, preventing access to schools and colleges. Parents and locals joined the protest. Authorities have yet to respond. The eviction had earlier cleared 40 makeshift shops from Dhubri Park area.
