Congress Alleges Corruption, Land Scams in Karbi Anglong Council

APCC accused the KAAC and Assam government of land scams, misuse of Rs 10 crore constituency funds, and constitutional violations. Congress claimed secret land deals could displace 20,000 families and opposed moves to impose Panchayati Raj in the Sixth Schedule area. They also alleged nepotism by KAAC CEM Tuliram Ronghang in awarding contracts. An independent probe was demanded.
