Crude Oil Leak from Kitchen Floor Alarms Sivasagar’s Jonaki Nagar

Panic gripped Jonaki Nagar, Sivasagar, after crude oil gushed from a kitchen floor early Saturday. The leak occurred at Nirupama Devi’s home around 4:30 am. Suspected to be from underground ONGC pipelines, the cause remains unconfirmed. ONGC officials are investigating. A fire brigade is on standby as residents recall the 2021 Bhatiapar gas leak.
