AIUDF Slams Assam Govt Over Eviction Drives, Alleges Bias and Court Order Violations

AIUDF leader Dr Rafiqul Islam criticized the Assam government for ongoing eviction drives, calling them biased and illegal. He alleged that landless Indian citizens, including NRC-listed individuals, are being evicted without proper rehabilitation.

He claimed court orders mandating food and shelter for the evicted are being ignored and demanded judicial and NHRC intervention. Islam also questioned the government’s claim of forest land, citing the presence of roads and public services in those areas.
