Assam Issues Guidelines for Free School Uniform Distribution

Assam has released detailed rules for procuring and distributing free uniforms to Class I–VIII students in government schools for 2025-26. Each child will get two pairs worth up to ₹600, with procurement handled by SMC/SMDC under strict quality checks. Supply must finish by Dec 31, 2025, and only approved vendors can participate.
