Assam Govt Issues Guidelines for 2025 Merit-Based Scooter Distribution

Assam’s Higher Education Department released guidelines for distributing scooters to HSSLC 2025 students scoring 80% or above under the Dr. Bani Kanta Kakati Merit Award of the Pragyan Bharati Scheme. The fully application-based initiative covers both boys and girls, offering a scooter, helmet, and free registration and insurance. Only Assam residents are eligible, and beneficiaries cannot claim Nijut Moina benefits. Online applications will follow the publication of the eligible students’ list.
