Sept 22 Declared Holiday for BTC Polls
The Assam Government has declared September 22 as a public holiday in the Bodoland Territorial Council areas for smooth conduct of polls. All offices, schools, banks, and business establishments will remain closed. A total of 118 candidates are contesting the 2025 BTC elections.
