KAAC Submits ₹5,618-Crore Proposal for Karbi Anglong Development

KAAC CEM Tuliram Ronghang and ‘Team Karbi Anglong’ met Union Tribal Affairs Minister Jual Oram in New Delhi on September 10.

They submitted a ₹5,617.99 crore proposal under the Dharti Aaba Janjatiya Gram Utkarsh Abhiyan to boost Karbi Anglong and West Karbi Anglong.

The plan covers housing, roads, drinking water, healthcare, education, agriculture, and skill development. Ronghang said the initiative focuses on empowering tribal communities and ensuring sustainable, inclusive growth.
