Gauhati University to Launch 4-Year Integrated Teacher Education Programme
Gauhati University will introduce a four-year Integrated Teacher Education Programme (B.A.–B.Ed. and B.Sc.–B.Ed.) from 2026–27, following NCTE’s Letter of Intent.
The initiative, aligned with NEP 2020, aims to train skilled, professional teachers and strengthen education in Assam and the Northeast.
