Cotton University Distributes Cheques to 2,159 Students Under Nijut Moina 2.0

Cotton University held a cheque distribution ceremony under the Nijut Moina 2.0 scheme to support students with financial aid and promote equal access to higher education.

Vice Chancellor Prof. Ramesh Chandra Deka, Registrar Dr. Hiren Deka, and Director of Students’ Welfare Dr. Gunendra Chandra Das attended the event.

A total of 2,159 students received cheques. Prof. Deka highlighted the scheme’s role in helping students overcome financial barriers and praised the Assam government’s commitment to inclusive and quality education.
