Assam GST Raids Expose ₹46 Crore Fake ITC Racket in Tinsukia

State GST officials conducted simultaneous raids in Tinsukia, uncovering a fake Input Tax Credit racket worth about ₹46 crore. DTS Enterprises was found with irregularities of around ₹25 crore, while another unit at Missionpara showed liabilities of about ₹21 crore.

Both businesses allegedly issued fake invoices and passed fraudulent ITC to firms in Arunachal Pradesh. One proprietor claimed their accountant managed the transactions, but the accountant has gone missing. Notices have been issued for further inquiry on November 26 as the probe continues.
