BJP Defends ST Status Report, Slams Opposition

The BJP criticised opposition parties after the Assam Assembly tabled the report on granting ST status to six communities. Party spokesperson Kalyan Gogoi said the Congress failed to address the issue during its rule and accused the opposition of creating confusion for political gain. He stated that the current government has worked seriously since 2016 and the report has been widely accepted.
