CM Launches Orunodoi 3.0 in BTR, Over 4 Lakh Women to Benefit

Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma on Friday launched Orunodoi 3.0 in the Bodoland Territorial Region, bringing BTR beneficiaries under the scheme for the first time. The main event was held in Kokrajhar, with parallel launches in Udalguri, Baksa, Tamulpur, and Chirang.

Sarma said over 4 lakh women in BTR will receive benefits, with the December installment to be released immediately. He added that additional benefits for Orunodoi beneficiaries would be announced on January 1, 2026. The scheme currently supports more than 38 lakh women across Assam.
