Gogoi Pakistan Link Probe to Be Handed Over to Central Agency

Assam Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma on Friday said the investigation into alleged Pakistan links involving Congress MP Gaurav Gogoi and his wife will be transferred to a central agency, citing the case’s complexity. He said the move will follow the completion of the SIT’s work in the Zubeen Garg death case.

Sarma claimed the SIT’s findings were sufficient to draw conclusions, adding that relevant documents would be shared soon. The allegations have been denied by Gogoi, who termed them politically motivated and baseless.
