Bullock and Horse Cart Rides Launched at Kaziranga Orchid Park

Bullock cart and horse cart rides were launched at the Kaziranga National Orchid and Biodiversity Park to promote agro- and rural tourism. The initiative aims to offer visitors a traditional village experience while expanding non-wildlife attractions in the Kaziranga region.

Park chairman Akhil Gogoi said the move would help diversify Assam’s tourism and support the rural economy. Authorities said the initiative will create local livelihoods, with more activities like trekking, cycling, and bird watching planned ahead.
