600 Join BJP at Bapuji Bhawan, Padma Hazarika Confident of Big 2026 Win

Around 600 people joined the BJP at a party joining programme held at Bapuji Bhawan on Saturday. The new members included new voters, former AASU leaders and workers, and ex-AAP leaders. Naduar MLA Padma Hazarika welcomed them with party caps and saffron shawls.

Speaking to the media, Hazarika said the joinings reflected the BJP’s growing appeal and claimed the Congress lacked grassroots presence. He also expressed confidence of winning the 2026 Assembly elections with a margin of over one lakh votes.
