CM Himanta Biswa Sarma Attends India Pavilion Inauguration at WEF Davos

Assam Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma joined Union ministers, chief ministers and senior leaders from 10 states at the inauguration of the India Pavilion during the World Economic Forum Annual Meeting in Davos. He said the pavilion would highlight India’s investment potential to the global community.

Sarma stated that Assam has emerged as the country’s fastest-growing state economy due to the Centre’s Act East and other policies, and is now positioning itself as a major investment destination.

During the summit, he is scheduled to meet global leaders and business heads to strengthen partnerships. He also met Tata Group chairman N. Chandrasekaran to discuss strengthening Assam’s semiconductor ecosystem.
