BTC Observes 6th Bodo Peace Agreement Day, Vows to Implement Pending Clauses

The BPF-led BTC government observed the 6th Bodo Peace Agreement Day in Kokrajhar, reaffirming its commitment to implement the remaining provisions of the accord. BTC chief Hagrama Mohilary said talks would be held with the state and central governments on pending issues, including ST (Hills) status for Bodos in Karbi Anglong and Dima Hasao. Leaders stressed continued dialogue, phased development and sustained peace. The Bodo Peace Agreement was signed on January 27, 2020.
