Assam Police Arrest Seven in Statewide Crackdown on Child Exploitation Content

CID Assam, with district police support, conducted a statewide operation on January 29 against the creation and circulation of child sexual exploitative and abuse material. Acting on Cyber Tipline inputs, police arrested seven accused across six districts under the POCSO Act and IT Act. With technical support from I4C, mobile devices were seized, and further investigation is underway to trace wider networks involved.
