Kahilipara Residents Seek Urgent Drinking Water Supply

Residents of Kahilipara’s Adarshapur Lane-8 have appealed to the Assam government for immediate supply of potable drinking water due to severe scarcity during the dry season.

In a memorandum submitted through the local GMC councillor, residents said they are forced to buy water from illegal borewells at high prices. They urged the Guwahati Municipal Corporation and the Drinking Water & Sewerage Board to take urgent measures to ensure regular water supply.
