Election Commission Full Bench to Visit Assam Ahead of Assembly Polls

The full bench of the Election Commission, led by Chief Election Commissioner Gyanesh Kumar, will visit Assam from February 16 to 18 to review preparedness for the upcoming assembly elections.

The EC team will meet political parties, senior state officials, election officers and police authorities, and is likely to address the media on the final day. Elections to the 126-member Assam Assembly are expected in March–April.
