AJP Demands Probe Into Cancellation of Assam Civil Services Results

The Assam Jatiya Parishad (AJP) has termed the cancellation of the Assam Civil Services examination results, after their declaration, as “shocking and mysterious” and demanded a high-level investigation.

AJP leaders Lurinjyoti Gogoi and Jagadish Bhuyan said the move has further damaged the credibility of the Assam Public Service Commission, already under scrutiny over past irregularities. The party alleged possible lapses in evaluation and result preparation and called for a thorough inquiry to restore public trust in the recruitment process.
