Hagrama Mohilary Launches Healthcare, Education and Cultural Projects in Kokrajhar

Bodoland People’s Front chief Hagrama Mohilary on Friday inaugurated and laid foundation stones for several major projects in Kokrajhar district, focusing on healthcare, education and cultural development. He launched new facilities at Kokrajhar Medical College, including a Maternal and Child Health Department and a proposed 50-bed Critical Care Unit.

Mohilary also laid the foundation stone for Kokrajhar University and a modern film studio, both aimed at boosting education and the creative sector in the Bodoland region. He said Prime Minister Narendra Modi is likely to visit Kokrajhar in early March and announced that the BPF will begin district-level mass rallies from February 25.
