APDCL Employee Found Murdered in Narengi, Probe Underway

A 42-year-old APDCL employee, Sachin Das, was found murdered in the ASEB Colony at Narengi in Guwahati, triggering mystery and concern. Police suspect the killing may be linked to an alleged extramarital affair. A blood-stained cloth was recovered from the spot, and the body was sent to GMCH for post-mortem. While the victim’s wife claimed he died after slipping in the bathroom, police, forensic and CID teams have launched a detailed investigation.
