Pema Khandu Condemns Racial Abuse of Arunachal Women in Delhi, Seeks Swift Action

Arunachal Pradesh Chief Minister Pema Khandu on Tuesday condemned the alleged racial abuse of three women from the state in south Delhi’s Malviya Nagar and sought prompt action from Delhi Police. He termed the incident shameful and said he has been assured that the absconding accused will be arrested soon.
Police said an FIR has been registered against a neighbour couple under relevant sections of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita. The incident reportedly stemmed from a dispute during AC installation at the women’s rented flat, which escalated into verbal abuse. Investigations are ongoing.
