Mission Basundhara 4 to Be Launched Soon: CM Himanta Biswa Sarma

Assam Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma on Friday announced that the government will soon launch Mission Basundhara 4 to cover all left-out beneficiaries. Speaking at a land patta distribution programme under Mission Basundhara 3 in Dhemaji, he said the scheme has transformed land governance across the state.

Sarma said nearly two lakh people benefited under the third phase. With Missions Basundhara 1, 2 and 3 combined, around 10 lakh families have received land pattas. He added that Mission Basundhara 4 aims to ensure land rights and security for every eligible family in Assam.
