Chargesheet Filed Against Zubeen Garg’s Two PSOs in Disproportionate Assets Case

The Chief Minister’s Vigilance Cell has filed a chargesheet against two PSOs of singer Zubeen Garg in a disproportionate assets case. The chargesheet was submitted on Friday in a special court. The accused, Nandeswar Borah and Paresh Baishya, were arrested in October last year after investigations found their assets exceeded known income by 38–40 per cent. They have been charged under Section 316 of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita for criminal breach of trust.
