PM Modi to Launch ₹47,600 Crore Development Projects in Assam

Prime Minister Narendra Modi will visit Assam on March 13–14 to inaugurate and lay foundation stones for development projects worth over ₹47,600 crore in Kokrajhar, Guwahati, and Silchar.

Key initiatives include Assam Mala 3.0 road projects, new railway services, the Kopili Hydro-Electric Project, the North East Gas Grid, and railway electrification works. In Guwahati, he will also distribute land pattas to tea garden workers and release the PM-KISAN instalment for farmers.

In Silchar, the Prime Minister will launch major infrastructure works including the Shillong–Silchar high-speed corridor and other connectivity projects to boost development in the Northeast.
