Kamrup Introduces Home Voting for Senior Citizens, PwDs

The Kamrup District Administration has announced home voting facilities for eligible absentee voters, including persons with disabilities and senior citizens aged 85 and above, across six Assembly constituencies.
The initiative, under the Election Commission of India guidelines, allows voters unable to visit polling stations to cast their votes from home.
The process will take place from March 30 to April 1, with dedicated polling teams visiting registered addresses as per schedule.
Officials have urged eligible voters to remain present and cooperate, ensuring smooth implementation of this inclusive electoral measure.
