PM Modi Targets Congress Over ‘Dynasty Politics’ in Assam Rally

Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Monday took a veiled swipe at the Gandhi family while addressing a rally in Hojai, accusing the Congress of prioritising dynastic interests over public welfare.
Without naming individuals, Modi criticised the party’s “family-first” approach, alleging it revolves around a “shahi parivar” in Delhi and similar leadership patterns in Assam.
Highlighting BJP’s governance model, he said the party follows “nation first” and “people first,” focusing on development and welfare.
The Prime Minister also accused Congress of supporting infiltration for vote-bank politics, claiming this led to illegal occupation of land in Assam. He said the BJP government is taking strict action to reclaim such land and protect the rights, culture, and identity of indigenous people.
Modi further alleged that Congress opposes action against infiltrators and raised corruption issues, claiming members of the Gandhi family face legal cases.
Citing Himachal Pradesh as an example, he accused Congress of failing to fulfil poll promises and betraying public trust.
He urged voters in Assam to remain cautious and support the BJP, emphasising the party’s commitment to development and stability.
