Couple Arrested in Maligaon for Alleged Drug Smuggling

A couple, Suchil Das and Swapna Das, were arrested by Assam Police in Maligaon’s Devkata area on charges of drug smuggling.

Acting on a tip-off, police intercepted them while they were transporting suspected contraband on a scooter. A total of 23 drug-filled containers were recovered. The duo is currently in custody and under interrogation.
