Man Arrested in Guwahati with Fake Gold Brick

Guwahati Police on Sunday reported the arrest of a man for possession of a fake gold item in the city.

According to police, an EGPD team from Dispur Police Station acted on specific intelligence and apprehended Abbas Ali of Doulah from Dakhin Gaon. He was found carrying a fake, boat-shaped gold brick.

The accused has been taken into custody, and legal proceedings have been initiated. The operation was carried out under the supervision of Assam Police.
