Assam Observes 30th Death Anniversary of Former CM Hiteswar Saikia

The 30th death anniversary of former Assam Chief Minister Hiteswar Saikia was observed across the state on Wednesday, with the main programme held at Rajiv Bhawan in Guwahati by the Assam Pradesh Congress Committee.

APCC president Gaurav Gogoi paid tribute to Saikia and urged youths to draw inspiration from his dedication and leadership. Congress leaders remembered Saikia for promoting inclusive development, dialogue, and communal harmony during a challenging period in Assam’s history.
