Police Rescue Eight Cattle, Bust Alleged Illegal Slaughterhouse in Kamrup

Police on Thursday rescued eight cattle after intercepting two vehicles at Uparhali under Palasbari Police Station.

Two accused, Arup Das and Biraj Das from Azara, were arrested in connection with the case.

Based on their statements, police later raided an alleged illegal slaughterhouse at Sarpara village in Kamrup district, where 11 cattle skins and several tools were seized. Further investigation is underway.
