Doctor, Wife Critically Injured in Nagaon Robbery Attack

A doctor and his wife were critically injured after unidentified miscreants allegedly attacked them during a robbery at Morikolong in Assam’s Nagaon district early Thursday morning. The attackers reportedly broke into the house, looted valuables, and assaulted the couple with a suspected iron rod.
Both victims were first treated in Nagaon and later shifted to GMCH for advanced treatment. Neighbours said the house was found ransacked with bloodstains inside, while reports suggest around six to seven attackers were involved.
Police have recovered evidence from the spot and launched an investigation. No arrests have been made so far.
