CUSU Raises Concern Over Missing EWS Reservation in HS Admissions

The Cotton University Students’ Union (CUSU) has alleged that the EWS reservation option is missing from the DARPAN portal for HS first-year admissions in Assam.

CUSU leaders claimed eligible students are unable to upload EWS certificates or apply under the reserved category, creating uncertainty among applicants. The union also said authorities failed to provide any official notification regarding removal of the quota.

The student body has urged the Assam government and ASSEB to take immediate corrective steps to ensure eligible students receive their reservation benefits.
