Two Absconding Accused Arrested in Digboi Powai Murder Case

Digboi Police have arrested two absconding accused, Sunil Singh and Vikas Singh, in connection with the Powai murder case.

The duo was apprehended near the Assam-Arunachal Pradesh border after sustained search operations. Police said the case relates to the brutal killing of Akash Tiwari, who was allegedly run over multiple times by the prime accused, Akash Singh, already in custody.

The incident had triggered massive protests and road blockades in Digboi. Police said the investigation is continuing to identify other individuals linked to the crime.
