Congress Candidate Alleges EVM Irregularities in Rangia Constituency

Congress candidate Pranjit Choudhury has filed a complaint with the Election Commission of India alleging irregularities in the handling of EVMs during the Assam Assembly Election 2026.

He claimed local election authorities failed to respond properly to requests for stronger surveillance of EVM strong rooms and raised concerns over alleged mismatches in EVM records and Form 17C data.

Choudhury has sought a detailed investigation and urged the Commission to ensure transparency and fairness in the election process.
