Garchuk Police Bust Human Trafficking Racket, Rescue Minor Girl

Garchuk Police dismantled an inter-state human trafficking network and rescued a minor girl while arresting three alleged traffickers, including the suspected kingpin, Abu Bakkar Siddique of Chhaygaon.

Police said Siddique allegedly lured the girl by pretending to be in a relationship and took her to Bihar, where she was reportedly sold to a brothel. She was later trafficked to Rajasthan before being rescued by police. Two other accused, Ankit Kumar and Kajli Kumari, were also arrested in connection with the case.
