Garima Saikia Garg Unveils Zubeen Garg’s Bronze Statue in Boko

Garima Saikia Garg unveiled a 10-foot bronze statue of late Assamese music icon Zubeen Garg at Boko on Wednesday night during an emotional ceremony attended by thousands.

The statue, built by the Bogai Cultural Organisation at a cost of around Rs 15 lakh, was sculpted by local artiste Pulak Rabha. Cultural performances, including songs from Zubeen Garg’s films, were presented by local artistes and children.

Speaking at the event, Garima said Zubeen Garg continues to live in people’s hearts and urged the people of Assam to preserve and carry forward his cultural and social contributions for future generations.
