Heroin Worth Rs 2.47 Crore Seized, One Arrested in Sribhumi

Sribhumi: Assam Police seized heroin worth around Rs 2.47 crore and arrested one person during an anti-narcotics operation in Sribhumi district. Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma praised the police action and reaffirmed the government’s commitment to cracking down on drug trafficking networks.

Police have launched an investigation to trace the source of the seized heroin and identify others involved in the network.
