CPI(M) Protests Fuel and LPG Price Rise in Guwahati

Guwahati: Members of the Communist Party of India (Marxist) staged a protest at Kalongpar in Narengi on Sunday, demanding a reduction in the prices of petrol, diesel, domestic LPG and essential commodities.

Party leaders alleged that rising fuel and commodity prices have increased the financial burden on the public and urged the government to take immediate steps to control inflation. The protest concluded with a public demonstration and an appeal for a broader movement against price rise.
