GMC Fines Business ₹1,000 for Dumping Garbage on Road

Guwahati, Assam: The Guwahati Municipal Corporation (GMC) has fined a business establishment ₹1,000 for dumping garbage on a public road at Bhupen Hazarika Path in Ward No. 23.

GMC said the action is part of its ongoing drive against illegal waste dumping and warned that strict penalties will continue against individuals and businesses violating municipal waste management rules.
