ASTC Operates 371 Electric Buses Across Assam

Guwahati: The Assam Government informed the Assembly that the Assam State Transport Corporation (ASTC) is currently operating 371 electric buses, with Rs 360.40 crore spent on procuring the buses and establishing charging stations. Electric bus services have been expanded to several districts, while new buses were added under the Centre’s PM e-Bus Sewa scheme to strengthen eco-friendly public transport across the State.
