Two Held, Three Cattle Rescued in Palasbari

Palasbari: Palasbari Police rescued three live cattle and arrested two persons on Sunday for allegedly transporting the animals illegally at Deopani Chowk in Sasalpara.

The cattle were found concealed inside a Maruti 800 car with their legs tied. The accused, both residents of Meghalaya’s Ri-Bhoi district, failed to produce valid documents for the cattle. Police seized the vehicle, rescued the animals, and registered a case for further investigation.
