Assam Extends Revised Working Hours for Tea Garden Workers Amid Heat Wave

Guwahati: The Assam Government has decided to continue the revised working hours of 6:00 AM to 2:00 PM for tea garden workers across the state due to the ongoing heat wave. The Labour Welfare Department said the measure aims to protect workers from extreme daytime temperatures and will remain in effect until further orders.
