Two Suspects Held After Gunfight in Arunachal’s Namsai

Namsai, Arunachal Pradesh: Two persons were apprehended by the Assam Rifles after an exchange of fire with an unidentified insurgent group in Namsai district on Friday night. The suspects were later handed over to Namsai Police for investigation.

A 30-year-old woman sustained a bullet injury during the incident and was referred to Tinsukia Medical College and Hospital for treatment. Security agencies have launched an investigation to identify the insurgent group involved.
