Assam Medical Council Cancels Doctor’s Registration Over Forged Documents

The Assam Council of Medical Registration (ACMR) has permanently removed the registration of Tinsukia-based doctor Pankaj Goel after finding that he obtained his medical degree from Ukraine using forged educational certificates. Following an inquiry, the council ruled that he violated medical ethics and concealed his criminal conviction while seeking registration. ACMR has directed him to surrender his registration certificate within seven days.
