Assam Government Transfers Two Senior Police Officers

The Assam Government has transferred two senior police officers following the deputation of IPS officer Pushkin Jain to the CBI. Sushanta Biswa Sarma has been posted as Senior Superintendent of Police, Barpeta, while Marylyn Zawlsangmawi has been appointed as SSP (In-charge), CID (Crime Against Women & Children), Assam. The transfers will take effect once the officers assume their new responsibilities.
